Baby Safety Gates for Stairs

Stair gates must be wall-mounted with custom hardware for your child’s utmost safety. Adults should never climb over gates, and older children should not swing on open gates, as this type of excessive pressure can and will rip the gate from the wall. More injuries are reported from parents taking a shortcut over the gate. Taking care of little ones is a hard enough job – let us help you pick the right, well-functioning gate so YOU don’t get injured! Baby Safety Pressure Gates

Pressure Walk-Through

This top-rated, pressure-mounted, walk-through gate installs quickly. The U-shaped frame stays firmly in place while the center walk-through door swings in either direction.

Pressure Gates — A Common Misnomer

It’s a common misnomer that pressure gates don’t cause wall damage. They DO CAUSE DAMAGE to plaster and/or drywall and most often require patching. Pressure gates often loosen when used in high-traffic areas and need to be retightened, causing excessive pressure on walls, resulting in cracking and/or wall indentation. Our advice is to consider the location of the pressure gate. We can help with this.

Baby Safety Gates for Fireplaces

At Boo Boo Busters, we offer a variety of baby safety gates specifically to protect your child from fireplaces and other heat-related areas. Heat-treated so that you CAN BURN FIRES behind the gate, this gate prevents a child from accessing the fireplace, leaving you the option to keep fireplace tools and wood on the hearth. Remember: even with a safety gate, do not burn a fire without a spark arrestor in place.

This gate is great for sectioning off angled areas where the gate is not straight across. It can be used for a hard angle or soft curve. Often used at the bottom of wide staircases.
